Install the plugin
Download the .zip, then upload it via WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Click Activate. Two minutes. No code.
Click Connect once
A 10-second sign-in connects the plugin to your xpay account. We read your sitemap and a few of your articles so we know what to recommend. You watch the progress; nothing is hidden.
Drop a shortcode where you want cards
Add [xpay_recs] in a post, or use the Gutenberg "Recommendations" block. We pick relevant products for that article and render 2–3 cards. You can also turn on a small floating chat button — or just use the shortcode and leave the rest off.

Where the cards point
Every card links to a real merchant through one of two affiliate networks we're plugged into — mrge.com (5,000+ advertisers, pre-approved for you automatically) and ChatAds (matches your article content against Amazon and other retailers). The plugin picks the best fit per article.
The split
You keep 85% of every commission. xpay keeps 15% to cover the plugin, the recommendation engine, and the network fees. Same split as Skimlinks. Better than most.
When the money lands
Your dashboard shows accrued commission within minutes of a confirmed click. Payout runs through Stripe Connect (3-minute onboarding, one time) once you cross $50. After that: Net-30 from mrge.com, similar for ChatAds. Standard affiliate timing — no slower, no faster than what you'd get going direct.

This is an affiliate-recommendation widget, not an ad unit. We don't compete for the slots your display network reserves. We don't run third-party tracking pixels. We don't bill on impressions. The same carve-out that lets Skimlinks and Sovrn run on Mediavine sites applies here.

Your existing affiliate links stay exactly as they are
If you've manually dropped Amazon Associates links into a recipe, they stay yours — 100% of those commissions. The plugin only adds new cards for products that weren't already linked. We never replace, swap, or modify a single character of your existing affiliate code.

How much will I actually make?
Honestly: we don't know yet, and we're not going to pretend we do. We're early. Commission depends on which merchants your readers click and what they buy. mrge.com's published commission rates run 4–15%. Treat any number a vendor gives you as a guess unless they're showing you their own publishers' dashboards. We won't show fake projections.
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. The plugin handles everything. You install, you click Connect, you drop a shortcode where you want cards. That's it.
Will it slow down my site?
No. The plugin's rendering code is about 6 KB, loads asynchronously, and runs inside a sealed Shadow DOM so it can't fight with your theme.
What about Amazon? Do you have an Amazon Associates integration?
ChatAds (one of our two networks) returns offers from Amazon and other major retailers. A direct Amazon Associates integration where you connect your own Associates tag is on our roadmap but not built yet. If that matters to you, tell us — it'll move it up the queue.
Can I use this on multiple sites?
Yes. One xpay account can hold many WordPress installs. The connect flow recognizes you across sites and adds each new domain to your account dashboard.
What if I already use Skimlinks / Sovrn?
They can coexist. Skimlinks and Sovrn auto-monetize bare URLs in your article text. We render dedicated recommendation cards next to your content. Different surface, different inventory. Some publishers run both.
Worst case: you uninstall it.
