Print on demand sites are not really set up for large collections with hundreds of variations on templates. Organizing them into coherent collections and categories is even harder. Without Matrixify launching and maintaining MyHometownVermont.com would have been impossible.
Matrixify is exactly the kind of tool we need for managing a full Shopify catalog at scale. Lawn and Pets is building toward a catalog of 250,000+ products across multiple vendors, brands, inventory sources, images, variants, pricing rules, and supplier updates. Managing that product volume manually inside Shopify would not be realistic. Matrixify gives us a safer and more controlled workflow for bulk catalog operations. We can prepare product, variant, image, pricing, SEO, and inventory files outside Shopify, run a dry-run import first, review errors and warnings, and only then proceed with the live import. That dry-run step is extremely valuable when working with large catalogs because it helps prevent bad data from being pushed live. For our Brightwell Aquatics and Continuum Aquatics import, Matrixify correctly detected the Products sheet, recognized 316 products, and returned a clean dry-run estimate with zero failures and zero warnings. That gives us confidence as we scale this same workflow across the rest of our catalog. Overall, Matrixify is becoming a key part of our product operations process. It helps us handle large-scale Shopify imports, exports, updates, variants, images, pricing, SEO, and inventory workflows without editing products one by one. For a 250,000+ item catalog, Matrixify is not just convenient — it is essential.
Really easy to use once you get the hang of making sure the uploads have the right column headers etc., but the support material is super helpful for getting this sorted. It works beautifully for us to update our products efficiently. Has saved us loads of time!
saved me weeks of work, ended up taking me about 15 minutes to transfer all the valueabe meta fields that Shopify export / import doesn't register. highly recommend for the advanced Shopify users transferring data
I really like this app — it’s the only thing that lets me manage and edit an inventory of over 20,000 products. Shopify’s native tools freeze past 1,000, so this has been essential. I recommend this app!
Matrixify makes the bulk editing of products a breeze. I used it recently to fix the download section of products in my store, (about 250 of them), which were incorrectly marked as taxable. So, I use Matrixify to export a list of all products tagged as "downloads". I then open the file in Excel, go to the taxable column and change the first item for TRUE, to FALSE. Then I copy the word FALSE, highlight the entire column and paste it in. Then I reimported the file to Shopify. In less than 3 minutes, all of my downloads were fixed. Easy-peasy. This app will save you tons of time. I know it has me... this one's a keeper!
to go airtable to Shopify you cant use your own airtable, you will have to morp and rename all of your data to be the Shopify upload file anyways which can be done with airsync or airpower who makes you use their base. we tried to use the aritable URL but matrixify doesnt work with the airtable URL . candidly not workt the headache. it isn't there and the AI gives terrible answers
We had no notice before adding three items to the API access needed by Matrixify, which broke our ability to use the app until we could get the store "Owner" to update the settings. We should get advance notice before our imports and exports are disabled.
