We have had this app on our store for some time and while it always gave us a good service working around the Shopify shortcomings, at some point some fees would just not show anymore. After talking to the support team found out that a new system was in place, cleaner, more effective and it was just a matter of creating the fees again. Special thanks to Javid who guided us thru the changes needed and was able to sort all of our issues promptly

I absolutely love the Upcharge App. I’ve been using it for over 6 years now and its allowed me to open up a new channel of sales by offering a rush service option for my products. Not only have I been able to earn extra income, the team (shout out to the Devs and Javid) have been so incredible and open to new features and listened to all my feedback. Recently they sent out an email asking if there was anything I could think of that they could do and improve on. Not only did they listen to my idea, the devs were like ninjas and installed it on my site!! And they are so fast, they finished it in less than 24 hours. I went to check the code myself and the documentation and instruction in the code was next level. Very through, explained how it worked and what it could and could not do. They are the best, you will not regret installing this on your store. If you have questions just reach out to them, they are true gems.

Great app for managing fees. The setup was straightforward, and it integrates seamlessly with our store. It provides the flexibility we needed and works reliably without affecting the customer experience. The support team has also been responsive and helpful whenever we've had questions.

The app worked for approximately 30 days, but then started glitching and stopped working. Support - which was initially very helpful - wasn't able to resolve in a timely manner. We lost hundreds of dollars in non-applied taxes and had to find an alternative immediately.

It works in Canada, specifically for the Alberta import fees on wine. I had to call support because I didn't know how to test this. Support was responsive and pleasant.

An update: We have yet to use the app again, but based on the customer service experience I just had I have faith that the new team members behind the app are WAY better. I, like many others, receive many emails in a day. Often, emails from Apps I do not use/no longer use tend to get ignored. The team, specifically Volha, went as far as to send me flowers to show they really wanted a chance to improve on my experience. I have never had another company do that, and it genuinely showed me they are committed to trying to work with me on fixing the experience. From just that reason alone, my review went from 2-4. We attempted to use this to help us with Bottle Deposits and Recycling Fees. When I noticed that the fees were not applying properly, I reached out to support. The original response was very dismissive and unhelpful, and said the missing fees were not something that could be changed. This left us with a huge gap in being able to correctly use fees, and led us to move on to a different app.

The app has been working perfect for months and when we had a website upgrade, there was a little glitch, but the UC Lab development team jumped right on it and got it fixed. Very pleased.
