After being dropped by a major shipping protection provider due to claim volume caused entirely by carrier failures — not anything on our end — we needed a replacement fast. Simply Shipping Protection stepped in seamlessly. The setup was straightforward, the support team was incredibly responsive, and they even implemented a custom workaround to get our widget pre-selected at checkout when Shopify's native settings wouldn't allow it. Varun went above and beyond to make sure everything worked exactly the way we needed it to. The free tier is generous and the pricing structure makes sense for a growing small business. We collect the protection fees, we handle our own claims, and nobody can pull the rug out from under us for being "unprofitable." That's the control we needed. Highly recommend for any indie brand that wants shipping protection without the drama.

Support is below par. They change code that prevents customers from checking out. They have done this multiple times. You also cannot access support as their portal to lucent does not work and you cannot contact them. I do not recommend this. To their response of changing theme. We update image assets and things that will benefit the site. Every change they made caused the checkout to not work. Their excuses are quite poor! Dont use this service.

If you're looking for an affordable In house Insurance app, this is the one. They have customizable widget, Claim Page to manage all claims and Excellent customer service. I had a trouble with CSS on my theme and they were able to help me provide custom CSS that works for my page. I will be a long term customer of this app.

Simply Shipping Protection is a great app with really good support. Our wishes were tailored to in a very professional manner. We shall be expanding to two more Shopify expansions stores with Simply Shipping Protection.

Hard to install and never got working correctly. Communication with support didn't yield the results we'd hoped for. Could not get the system functioning consistently, resulting in angry customers. Also, a HUGE issue was when we performed an uninstall of the app, their code was left in our system and we had to pull it out ourselves. Sloppy coding practices. Would not recommend.

Great app but horrible support. They are never on a their app chat! and when you email them they respond like a robot without proper english! We have contacted them 3 days in a row about our orders not auto fulfilling because of their product but no care in the world to respond to their customers even though we are on their highest plan that promises "expert Support"
