I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with Craftybase! I tried another option beforehand and just couldn't get behind the interface. This platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to maneuver within. I have a handbag brand and complicated product I make to order. I found it very easy to sort through everything and once I wrangled the bulk imports/uploads, it was very easy! It's amazing to see everything in this platform and not in my complicated offline spreadsheets! Can't wait for 2027 when I can look back at 2026 and the tax year and am so relieved not to have to work in crappy offline spreadsheets! I would HIGHLY recommend Craftybase to any maker or small business!
I had a number of issues setting up as Craftybase wasn't integrating properly with Shopify and picking up my historical data and therefore stock numbers accurately. After a number of attempts to resolve this, the work arounds I was given made things worse, and I ended up having to disconnect the app and have spent hours and hours stock taking to try to rectify my stock numbers doing multiple stocktakes. I had paid additional subscription fees to get the right subscription and help I needed, and have been now denied my request for a refund as a result. They were fully aware of the issues and gave me generic work arounds. Now that I have cancelled and advised them, they want to offer full help. I have moved on to Katana and won't be back. Really disappointed . UPDATE EDIT: Originally I gave this a 1 star but this is an update. I am giving them 3 stars. When the product is working it is good. Nicole the owner has personally emailed me and said she will make changes within culture and policies to ensure this doesn't happen again. And they refunded me. The fact remains that my experience was very poor and deserves 1 star, however I recognise the damage 1 star does, and they have said they are committed to fixing things. They would also have got me up and running. Trouble is, they lost my trust. I wish them well, they have a good product when it works, but the cost to me of this going wrong has been massive. I hope they make the changes they need to make.
I love using Craftybase. It tracks inventory, recipes, production. Costs etc. There is even a feature to push newly made inventory to shopify so that inventory is matched at both locations.
So far so good! Very user friendly. This is what I needed to start a new business. Having already a million things to do I did not need another headache platform and this was nothing of that. Thank you! Also Shout out to Wade Thomas from Black Tie Barn for teaming up with Crafty base for a whole walk through. This made my life so much easier to have a walk though. Special Thanks to Wade!
This has saved me a tremendous amount of time and stress with my production. I run a dairy farm and produce a product, so I don't have enough hours in my day. This was so easy to set up and get going on better tracking and management of the business. LOVE IT. Would highly recommend.
If you need software to manage your materials inventory, create recipes from those materials for your products to estimate cost of products, and have the materials automatically deducted from your inventory when you sell a product on shopify, you will need the $1200 / year plan. CB have turned a basic function off to force you to upgrade if you want materials deducted automatically when a product sells. I have had to upgrade two times since joining CB to get what I see as very basic functions.
It is exactly what I was wanting to keep track of my supplies and products! Always room for improvement, but it's reasonably priced and once you get going, very easy to work with.
I love Craftybase. It takes a bit to understand it but it really helps me in pricing out my jewelry and at the end of the year, so easy to run a PL report to provide to your tax accountant. I only wish I could speak directly to someone when I have questions. But otherwise I love this app.
