Billie needs your own invoice number when an order is captured, and the plugin does not generate
one. It reads the number from PDF Invoices & Packing Slips, Germanized Pro, German Market, or from
the invoice field on the order screen. If none of those supplies a number, the capture stops and
the order gets a note saying so.
Two setups look correct but supply nothing:
- PDF Invoices & Packing Slips ships with invoice documents switched off. Enable the invoice
document under WooCommerce -> PDF Invoices -> Documents -> Invoice. - Germanized only has invoicing in the Pro edition. The free edition never creates invoice
numbers.
You can always enter a number by hand in the Billie box on the order screen.
No. Each order is captured once, for its full amount, when it reaches the status configured under
Authorization & Capture. Partial captures would need a separate invoice number per shipment, and
the supported invoicing plugins issue one number per order.
Yes, until the order is captured. Edit the line items as usual and the new total is sent to Billie
on save. Increases are re-checked against the buyer’s limit; reductions apply directly. Once the
order has been captured the amount is fixed by the invoice.
