What do I need for the progress bar to show?

A WooCommerce shipping zone with a Free shipping method that has a minimum order amount: the bar uses that amount as the goal in the customer’s zone. If you use another shipping plugin, or no Free shipping method, set a custom threshold on the Free Shipping tab. The Free shipping status at the top of that tab shows the amount the bar uses in each zone, and warns you when something keeps it from showing.

The progress bar doesn’t show. What should I check?

  1. The Free shipping status on the Free Shipping tab: it lists what it finds, zone by zone.
  2. The Progress Bar is enabled, and its visibility includes the visitor (all users, or logged-in users only).
  3. WooCommerce’s “Hide shipping costs until an address is entered” setting hides the bar until the customer enters an address.
  4. The cart isn’t empty, and the customer’s zone has a free shipping amount.
  5. If your Cart or Checkout uses blocks, see the next question.

Does it work with the block-based Cart, Checkout and Mini-Cart?

Free Shipping Label Pro places the bar there for you: pick a block position in the Progress Bar settings, or add the Progress Bar block yourself. The free version works with the classic Cart and Checkout pages, and the settings page tells you when yours use blocks.

The bar doesn’t show in my theme’s mini-cart or side cart

Some themes and side cart plugins replace WooCommerce’s mini-cart and leave out the hook the bar uses (woocommerce_widget_shopping_cart_before_buttons). Pro supports popular side carts (WPC Fly Cart, Side Cart, FunnelKit) and adds a shortcode and a widget you can place anywhere.

Can I use it with another shipping plugin?

Flexible Shipping, WooCommerce Advanced Free Shipping and GLS Shipping for WooCommerce are supported, and Pro adds EuroParcel. With any other plugin, turn on the custom threshold on the Free Shipping tab and enter your free shipping amount.

Can I offer more goals than free shipping?

Yes. The Gift Bar adds a free gift as a second goal, and the FSL Discount add-on adds up to three discounts. The bar shows them together, in the layout you choose.

Does it work with multilingual and multi-currency stores?

Leave a text empty and the bar shows the default text, translated into each language. Pro supports WooCommerce Multilingual (WPML), and converts the threshold with FOX, CURCY and WooPayments multi-currency.

Can I match the bar to my store’s design?

Yes: set the colors, sizes and texts, choose a layout, and check the result in the live preview on the settings page. Pro adds design presets, including Theme Match, which takes your theme’s colors.

Which WooCommerce hooks does the progress bar use?

Cart: woocommerce_proceed_to_checkout
Checkout: woocommerce_review_order_before_submit
Mini-cart: woocommerce_widget_shopping_cart_before_buttons
