This plugin connects a WooCommerce store to the vPOS payment service of Ameriabank CJSC, so that customers can pay by card without leaving the shop’s checkout flow.
It is intended for businesses registered in the Republic of Armenia. To use it you need a vPOS agreement with Ameriabank; the bank issues the credentials that the plugin needs.
How a payment works
Once the plugin is configured, Ameriabank appears as a payment method at the checkout. The customer picks it, the shop sends them to the bank’s secure payment page, and the bank returns them to the shop afterwards with the result. No card details ever pass through the shop.
When the customer comes back, the shop asks the bank directly what happened before the order is marked as paid. The payment identifier, the order reference, the amount, the currency and the payment state all have to agree. An order is never marked paid on the strength of the return address alone.
Completed payments can be seen both in the WooCommerce orders screen and in the console Ameriabank provides.

Apple Pay and Google Pay
Both are switched off by default and each has its own checkbox in the settings. Before switching one on, Ameriabank has to enable that functionality for your merchant account.

No activation key
The plugin needs no identification step and no activation token. Every setting is available as soon as it is activated.

This plugin connects to the Ameriabank vPOS payment service to register orders, to look up the state of a payment, and to confirm, cancel or refund a payment. The order number, order amount, currency, a short order description and your merchant credentials are sent for each payment. This is required for the gateway to work. When the plugin is installed, and again after each update, it sends a one-off notification to https://plugins.hkdigital.am containing four values: the site domain, the plugin version, the e-mail address of the administrator performing the installation, and whether the gateway is switched on. HK Digital uses this to provide support and to notify you about updates. It is sent once per version and never from front-end page loads. The source code of this plugin is distributed under GPLv2 or later, which allows it to be used, studied, modified and redistributed under the same terms.

The plugin never issues, changes or displays your credentials. It stores them in the WooCommerce payment method settings and sends them to the bank only when it registers or looks up a payment. For anything to do with how the credentials are issued and used, and with the bank’s own console and pricing, please contact Ameriabank.
No. Nothing has to be entered to unlock the plugin, and it contacts no licensing service. Install it, activate it, enter the bank’s credentials, and it works.
There is a checkbox for each in the payment method settings. Both are off by default.

Once switched on, each appears at the checkout as its own payment option, and only on devices that can complete that kind of payment. Apple Pay is shown on Apple devices in Safari; Google Pay elsewhere. Shop managers see both options whatever device they are using, so that the settings can be checked.
Neither can be saved for future payments, so orders that save a card, and subscription renewals, always use the card form.
Multi-currency payments have to be enabled by the bank for your merchant account. Once the bank has done so, switch on the Multi-currency setting in the payment method and the other currencies become available.
Yes. A payment can be cancelled within 72 hours of being made, which reverses it in full. After that, and at any time, you can refund the whole amount or part of it using the Refund button on the order. Choose the option that goes through the payment gateway rather than the manual one, so that the money is actually returned to the customer.
Yes, with WPML and with Polylang. The bank’s page opens in the language the customer is browsing in, and when they come back the order page and the e-mails use the language the order was placed in. If neither plugin is present, the language chosen in the settings is used.
