Privacy Policy

RevBoost Cash on Delivery Popup uses the RevBoostLab SDK to collect some telemetry data upon user’s confirmation. The SDK does not gather any data by default. Data collection only begins after the site administrator explicitly opts in through the permission notice shown on the plugin’s settings page.

What data may be collected (only after opt-in):

  • Site URL
  • Administrator email address
  • WordPress version
  • PHP version
  • Plugin version and slug
  • List of active plugins

This data is sent to the RevBoostLab servers and is used solely to:

  • Improve plugin compatibility and stability
  • Send important plugin update and security notices

You are never required to opt in. You may decline the opt-in notice at any time. If you have previously opted in, you can opt out by visiting the plugin’s settings page and withdrawing consent from the SDK notice.

This plugin relies on the RevBoostLab SDK for the following external service connections:

Plugin Update Checks

The plugin periodically contacts the RevBoostLab API to check for available updates. This request includes the plugin slug and current version number. No personally identifiable information is transmitted for update checks.

Opt-In Telemetry (user-initiated only)

If the administrator explicitly opts in via the SDK permission prompt, basic site and plugin data (listed in the Privacy Policy section above) is sent to the RevBoostLab API.

  • Data transmitted: Site URL, admin email, WP/PHP/plugin version, active plugin list
  • Trigger: Only after explicit administrator opt-in — never automatically

Deactivation Feedback

When the plugin is deactivated, an optional feedback form is shown. If the administrator chooses to submit feedback, the selected reason and an optional message are sent to the RevBoostLab API. Submitting this form is entirely voluntary.

Does this replace the default WooCommerce checkout page?

No. The default WooCommerce checkout page remains fully functional. This plugin adds a quick order fast-track option directly on product pages and loop pages to capture impulsive sales instantly.

Can I use this for other payment methods besides Cash on Delivery?

This plugin is specifically optimized for Cash on Delivery (COD) to streamline quick checkout. It automatically assigns the “COD” payment method to orders created via the popup modal.

How does the Order Bump (Upsell) feature work?

You can enable Order Bumps in the settings. You can choose to dynamically pull upsell products defined inside WooCommerce (Linked Products) or select specific global fallback products that will show up as checkbox offers in the checkout modal.

Can I customize the delivery/shipping fees?

Yes! You can enable custom shipping fees and define different prices and labels for “Inside City” and “Outside City” areas. The popup modal recalculates the grand total dynamically.

Is the checkout button customizable?

Absolutely. You can change the button text (e.g., “Order Cash on Delivery”, “Buy Now (COD)”), set custom background and text colors, and enable attention-grabbing shake animations. Upgrade to Premium for 10 advanced animation styles with full per-animation color and label control.

What is the RevBoostLab SDK used for?

The plugin uses the RevBoostLab SDK for plugin update checks and an optional opt-in telemetry system. No data is ever collected without your explicit confirmation. See the Privacy Policy section for full details.
