Storepex – Herroepingsknop for WooCommerce helps Dutch WooCommerce stores offer and record digital withdrawal requests. It creates a regular WordPress page named “Herroepingsverzoek”, adds withdrawal buttons to WooCommerce order pages, records submitted requests as WooCommerce order notes, and sends confirmation emails to the customer and store administrator.
The plugin is intended for Dutch WooCommerce stores that need a process for offering and recording withdrawal requests. It is designed to support the administrative workflow around the Dutch right of withdrawal for distance sales, but it does not provide legal advice, determine eligibility, or guarantee compliance.
The plugin:
- creates a regular published WordPress page containing the withdrawal form;
- shows an order-specific request link on the order received page and individual order details page;
- verifies the order ID and the billing email address;
- stores the submitted request as a private order note;
- records the submission date and time using the WordPress site timezone;
- sends the request details to the configured store address;
- sends the customer an email confirmation containing the submitted details.
New installations create a published page named “Herroepingsverzoek” with the slug herroepingsverzoek. The page uses the normal page layout supplied by the active theme. Depending on the theme configuration, newly published pages may appear automatically in navigation; administrators can adjust this through the WordPress menu or Navigation editor.
The [hknl_herroepingsformulier] shortcode remains available for a custom form page. The [hknl_herroepingsknop] shortcode remains available for deliberate manual placement.
The plugin records and confirms requests. It does not determine whether a request is timely, valid, eligible, or legally enforceable. Store owners remain responsible for legal review, their withdrawal and return policy, customer information duties, retention periods, communication, and handling requests. This plugin is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any law or regulation.
The plugin contains no premium upsell, advertising, tracking code, or external API integration.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.5 or later.
- PHP 7.4 or later.
- WooCommerce 8.2 or later.
Privacy
When a customer submits the form, the plugin processes the order ID, name, email address, selected products or services, and an optional comment.
This data is:
- used to match the request to a WooCommerce order;
- stored as a private note on that order;
- emailed to the configured store address;
- used to send a receipt confirmation to the customer.
The plugin does not place tracking cookies or send data to external APIs. Site owners remain responsible for providing appropriate privacy information and defining access and retention policies.
