What image types are supported?

Is there an image size limit?

Yes, the free version has a configurable image size limit (default 5MB). This can be customized in the WooCommerce settings, and you can also adjust your server’s upload limits.

Where are uploaded files stored?

Files are stored in a secure directory (/wp-content/uploads/uploadmate/) with .htaccess protection to prevent direct access while still allowing admin downloads.

Can I make image uploads required?

Image uploads are optional in the free version. UploadMate Pro allows you to make uploads required on a per-product basis.

Will this slow down my website?

No! UploadMate is lightweight and only loads its scripts on product pages. Files are uploaded via AJAX without page reloads.
