Moneris is Canada’s leading processor of debit and credit card payments. This WooCommerce extension automatically adds the Moneris payment gateway to your WooCommerce website and allows you to keep the customer on your site for the checkout process.

  • API based credit card payment method which allows a user to enter a credit card on the WooCommerce checkout page and capture payment to the Moneris account without leaving the WooCommerce website.
  • Works with the classic checkout and the WooCommerce Checkout block.
  • Switch between Sandbox and Live environments.
  • Choose which card logos to show at checkout.
  • Refund orders from the WooCommerce order screen, from the day after the sale.
  • The Moneris transaction ID is added to the order notes.
  • Optional debug logging, with card numbers and customer details left out of the log.

What is the difference between the free and Pro versions?

The free plugin takes one-off card payments on your checkout page, with refunds from the order screen from the day after the sale. Pro adds subscriptions, saved cards, Moneris Checkout, separate CAD and USD accounts, 3-D Secure, address and CVD checks, card-testing protection, same-day refunds, authorize and capture, a statement descriptor and priority support. Can I upgrade without losing my settings?

Yes. Pro uses the same Moneris payment method as the free plugin, so the title, description, sandbox setting and card logos carry over. Moneris Pro 5.1.0 and later also take over your Store ID and API token as Pro’s CAD account. Deactivate the free plugin, then install and activate Pro.

Do I get support?

Yes. Free support is given in the plugin’s forum on WordPress.org. Pro includes a year of priority support and updates from the WPHEKA team.
