Give customers the freedom to pay using cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, installment payments, or recurring payments. The plugin supports both hosted payment pages and an embedded checkout experience, allowing merchants to choose the payment flow that best fits their business and customers.

Account requirements

An active PayXpert account and valid API credentials are required to process payments. Credentials are provided after service activation.

In the plugin configuration:

The Public API Key field corresponds to the Originator ID.
The Private API Key field corresponds to the API key provided for that Originator.

Is a PayXpert account required?

Yes. An active PayXpert account and valid API credentials are required before the plugin can process payments.

Which payment methods are supported?

The plugin supports cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, installment payments, pay by link, subscriptions, and recurring payments, subject to the services enabled for the merchant account.

Which checkout modes are available?

The plugin supports hosted payment pages using a redirect and an embedded checkout experience using an iframe.

Where can I find my API credentials?

Credentials are provided after service activation. Use the Originator ID as the Public API Key and the related API key as the Private API Key.

Does the plugin support refunds?

Yes. Full and partial refunds are supported.

Can I update directly from version 1 to version 2?

No. Version 2 is a standalone version. Deactivate and remove version 1 before installing version 2 for the first time. Normal updates between version 2 releases do not require this migration procedure.
