Such a great app for small business owners who don't have the capability to fulfill orders while out on vacation. I've also used it to notify customers when we have maintenance or production outages on our equipment that prevents us from printing and fulfilling orders. The pop up messages look great...thanks!

AMAZING! This is a must have app for everyone that goes on vacation from time to time. No stressing about unfulfilled orders nothing! Also when you're going to sell at a market you can close the store without actually closing it, so you don't sell your one-of-a-kind product twice! I would 100% highly recommend this app! Also, if you have trouble installing it (like I did), they're more than happy to help you out!

A useful little app, for a very fair price. Support was quick to answer my questions, and helped integrating the sign-up form into our product template when it didn't work out of the box (probably an issue on our side due to a very old theme).

While scouring the internet trying to find a good solution for going away for a few days, I learned about Magical Vacation Mode in the Shopify Forums. I certainly am glad that I gave it a try. The app did exactly what I needed it to...let my visitors know that they can look at my items but not purchase until my return. There was also an option for them to request a notification when I reopened. When I installed the app, I quickly received a note from a human asking if I needed help setting it up! While I didn't, it was easy, it was nice that someone was there if I needed them. When I returned, it was painless to go back to selling. I can't recommend this service enough, it solves a problem that enables me to take time off without the worry.

Everything looked good doing it myself but since we are using a vintage Shopify theme, I was unable to do inline messaging. Jeff the developer stepped in quickly and put in some code to really customize our message. Easy to use and implement, would fully recommend for anyone looking for an app to close their store for a brief period.

I cannot believe Shopify does not have a vacation setting, but for a mere $5 per year (that's right, not per month ... $5 per year) this app made it super easy. Actually the tech support made it super easy. I took them up on the offer to set up the app for me with a simple email, and after just a few quick email exchanges they set it all up for me! Could not have been easier. I'm so grateful.

FINALLY is all I can say - what a great and useful app for taking a break with your store and not having to follow the ridiculous suggestions by shopify to put the "coming soon" / password protected page back up - I don't care what kind of message you put on that page - it makes you look like you have gone out of business - and no one can browse your store! With Magical Vacation mode - you can close for as long as you want, and still keep your shop open with a message (configurable) on the home page and product page so that customers don't get frustrated or confused. Simple and lightweight - doesn't bog down the store. I personally have needed this app for years and am thrilled with the ease of set up AND the responsiveness of the developer who helped me tweak it to my needs. Take a break, close for inventory - go on vacation - at the push of a button. 5 stars all the way!
