We were worried about bot accounts and fake registrations inflating our customer list. The browser and bot detection feature in OTP+ caught a surprising number of suspicious sign-ups in the first week. The detailed logs make it easy to review and act on.
We measured login completion rate before and after OTP+. Before: significant customers who hit the login page abandoned rather than go through password reset. After: almost no drop-off at login.
Our COD orders were suffering from address fraud. Phone verification at checkout confirmed we're reaching a real number before the order is confirmed. Our delivery success rate improved noticeably.
The bot detection started showing value in the first week. We had a wave of signups from similar device fingerprints. The system flagged them and the logs let me review exactly what triggered the alert.
I was nervous about installing an authentication app without developer support, but the setup genuinely took about four minutes. I added the app, configured the widget, and it was live. One of the cleanest Shopify installs I've done.
OTP+ replaced a clunky third-party login solution we had cobbled together. The difference in how polished the login experience feels now is night and day. Customers compliment the checkout flow regularly now, which is something I never expected to hear about a login screen.
An excellent solution for modern Shopify stores. Finding an OTP app that accommodates the latest platform limits was a challenge, but this app delivers perfectly. Highly recommended!
