Fotisy – AI Metadata Generator is the ultimate tool for WordPress users who want to automate their SEO workflow. Using the power of Gemini AI, this plugin automatically generates high-quality SEO titles, meta descriptions, and image Alt texts for your products, posts, and pages.

Fotisy is a powerful tool designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, AIOSEO, The SEO Framework). It automatically generates high-converting, localized SEO titles, meta descriptions, and image alt texts with the click of a button.

Fotisy supports standard WordPress content as well as eligible public Custom Post Types. Posts, Pages, WooCommerce Products, Services, Portfolio items, Locations, Events, and other registered content types can be made available through the Fotisy settings.

Additional Custom Post Types are discovered from WordPress registration data and require explicit selection before they are included in Fotisy’s dashboard or llms.txt output.

Major features include:
* Standalone or Integrated: Works perfectly as a standalone SEO plugin OR as an add-on for your favorite SEO suite (Yoast, RankMath, etc.). If no other SEO plugin is active, Fotisy will automatically handle your frontend meta tags.
* Centralized SEO Dashboard: See all your products, pages, posts and categories in one clean list. Even without AI, you can use our dashboard to manually check and edit SEO data much faster than opening each post/page/category individually.
* AI Generation via External Service: Metadata generation is powered by the Fotisy AI API. Availability depends on the external service response. The plugin remains fully functional even without connecting to the external service, allowing manual SEO management at all times.
* Bulk Generation: Generate SEO for all your unfiltered products or posts on the screen at once.
* Global Languages: Supports generating SEO data in 26 different languages.
* Tone Control: Pick between Sales-oriented, Professional, Casual, or Balanced writing styles.
* Custom Post Type Support: Manage eligible public Custom Post Types through the same SEO workflow as Posts and Pages.
* llms.txt Generator: Generate a structured Markdown file containing selected public website content for AI systems and crawlers.

The plugin provides full SEO metadata management functionality independently, while the external AI service is used only as an optional enhancement to generate suggested content when explicitly requested by the user.

llms.txt Generator

Fotisy can generate an llms.txt file at your site’s /llms.txt URL.

The file includes only the content types explicitly selected in the settings. Posts and Pages are the conservative defaults, while additional Custom Post Types can be enabled by the user.

The generated file:

  • Includes published public content only.
  • Excludes drafts, private content, password-protected content, trash, and revisions.
  • Uses the site’s actual WordPress permalinks.
  • Can reuse existing Fotisy metadata.
  • Supports a configurable maximum number of links per section.
  • Uses caching to avoid unnecessary database queries.

  • Does not make an AI request when the public file is accessed.

    llms.txt is an emerging convention and does not guarantee indexing, ranking, citations, or usage by any particular AI system.

External services

This plugin relies on an external service to generate AI-powered SEO metadata. The processing required for generating suggestions cannot be performed locally on the user’s server.

The plugin provides full SEO metadata management functionality independently, while the external AI service is used only as an optional enhancement to generate suggested content when explicitly requested by the user.

No data is sent to any external service unless the user explicitly initiates an action by clicking the “Generate” button inside the plugin.

Service information

  • Service name: Fotisy AI API
  • Service URL: https://api.fotisy.com/
  • Purpose: Used to generate SEO metadata (titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text) based on user-provided content.

Data sent

When the user clicks “Generate”, the following data is sent to the API:

  • Post or product title
  • Post or product content
  • Website domain (for request identification and service statistics)
  • Selected language and tone settings
  • API key (if provided by the user for authentication purposes)

The API key is user-owned and obtained from fotisy.com. It is used strictly for authentication and is not stored or shared beyond the request.

When data is sent

Data is only transmitted when the user manually triggers the generation process. The plugin does not send any data automatically, does not run background requests, and does not collect or transmit data without user interaction.

Do I need an account to use this plugin?

No. The plugin’s SEO Dashboard and all manual editing features are fully available without any account. AI metadata generation is powered by an external service (Fotisy API). You can connect to the service using an API key from fotisy.com.

Can I use the dashboard for free?

Absolutely. The SEO Dashboard is free to use and provides a much better overview of your site’s SEO state. You can manually edit any item for free.

Does it work with Yoast, RankMath, SEOPress, All in One SEO (AIOSEO)?

Yes! It automatically detects your primary SEO plugin and injects the AI-generated meta titles and descriptions directly into their respective metadata fields.

Does Fotisy support Custom Post Types?

Yes. Fotisy dynamically discovers eligible public WordPress Custom Post Types and can manage their SEO metadata using the same workflow as Posts and Pages.

Additional content types must be explicitly selected in the Fotisy settings. Fotisy does not automatically enable every Custom Post Type registered on the website.

Does it work with WooCommerce Products?

Yes. WooCommerce Products are supported when WooCommerce is installed and the Product post type is available. WooCommerce is not required for the plugin to work with Posts, Pages, or other eligible content types.

Why don’t I see the AI-generated text inside Yoast or Rank Math fields?

Fotisy uses a “Non-Intrusive Sync” technology. To keep your database clean and prevent conflicts with other SEO plugins, we store AI metadata in our own dedicated fields. These are then dynamically injected into your website’s header during page load. This ensures your site is perfectly optimized for search engines while keeping your third-party SEO plugin settings untouched.

Will this create double meta tags if I already have Yoast or Rank Math?

No. Fotisy is built with smart detection. If it finds another active SEO plugin, it automatically disables its own tag output and instead feeds the AI metadata directly into the existing plugin’s filters. You will always have exactly one title and one description tag.

What if I don’t have any other SEO plugin installed?

No problem! Fotisy acts as a standalone SEO solution. It will automatically detect that no other SEO plugin is active and will correctly output your Title tags and Meta Descriptions in your website’s header for you.

Do I need to buy my own Gemini API Key?

No. The plugin uses our centralized API proxy service. Simply enter your API key from fotisy.com in the Settings page to enable AI suggestions.

Is it safe for my database?

Absolutely. The plugin only updates the specific SEO metadata fields and does not interfere with your core post content.

Can I use it on multiple sites?

Yes, the plugin can be installed on any site. AI generation availability depends on your account configuration at fotisy.com.

Which AI models do you use?

We use the Google Gemini AI (Pro models) to ensure high-quality, human-like, and SEO-optimized content generation.

Is my data stored on your servers?

No. The content you send for AI generation (post title, content, domain) is processed in real-time by the Fotisy API and is not retained or stored after the response is returned. Your API key is used solely for authentication. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

What is llms.txt?

llms.txt is an emerging convention for providing a structured, Markdown-based overview of a website for AI systems and crawlers.

Fotisy can generate the file from the public WordPress content types selected in the settings. It is not a guaranteed ranking or indexing mechanism, and individual AI systems decide whether and how they use the information.

Does llms.txt use AI every time someone visits the file?

No. The public llms.txt endpoint uses existing website content and metadata. It does not make an AI API request when someone visits the file.

Can I choose which Custom Post Types appear in llms.txt?

Yes. Posts and Pages are used as the conservative defaults. Additional eligible Custom Post Types can be explicitly selected from the llms.txt settings.
