7 ratingsHoplix is an Italian print-on-demand platform. You create your products on Hoplix, publish them to your WooCommerce store, and when a customer buys, Hoplix prints, packs and ships the order for you. No stock, no upfront costs.
Choose from over 150 products: apparel, home decor, bags and accessories, phone cases, mugs, stickers and more.
What you can do with the plugin
Connect your store in one click
Connect WooCommerce to your Hoplix account from the plugin page. Hoplix creates the color and size attributes it needs in your store.
Publish products from Hoplix
From your Hoplix account (Integrations > WooCommerce > Add Products) choose the products to publish. Each one is created in your store as a variable product, with its colors, sizes, prices, images, mockups and size guide.
Update published products (new in 1.0.6)
Changed a design, a price, a description or the available colors and sizes on Hoplix? Click “Update on WooCommerce” in the Published Products list: the product in your store is updated with the Hoplix data, variations included. No need to delete it and publish it again.
Hoplix shipping rates at checkout (new in 1.1.0)
Your customers see the real Hoplix shipping cost for their address at checkout, standard and express, plus the margin you choose (in %). Enable it in the plugin settings and add the “Hoplix” method to your WooCommerce shipping zones.
- Carts with your own products too: split them into two shipments (Hoplix rates for the Hoplix products, your rates for the others), or use Hoplix rates only when the cart contains only Hoplix products.
- The shipping option chosen by your customer (standard or express) is the one Hoplix uses for the order.
- If Hoplix cannot be reached, an optional fallback rate keeps your checkout working.
Automatic order import
Orders containing Hoplix products are imported into Hoplix automatically (in real time, every hour or every two hours, as you prefer) or manually from your Hoplix account. You set the payment method used to pay Hoplix for production and shipping.
Shipping status and tracking sent back to your store (new in 1.0.6)
When Hoplix ships an order, the order in your store is updated automatically:
- the status changes to “Completed”;
- your customer receives a note with the carrier, the tracking number and the tracking link;
- the tracking data is also saved in the format used by the “Shipment Tracking” extension, if you use it.
If an order is cancelled on Hoplix before shipping, it is marked as “Cancelled” in your store. Your customers are notified by WooCommerce, from your store and under your brand.
Your brand on the parcel
Shipments carry your store’s name. You can also add your own shipping label from your Hoplix account.
Orders and stats in WordPress
The Hoplix menu in your WordPress admin shows the orders sent to Hoplix and your statistics.
How it works
- Create a free account on hoplix.com and design your products.
- Install and activate the plugin, then connect your store.
- Publish your products to WooCommerce.
- Your customers buy in your store: Hoplix imports the order, produces it and ships it.
- The order in your store is updated with the shipping status and the tracking number.
Learn more about the WooCommerce + Hoplix integration here.
Go to https://hoplix.com/account/woocommerce and, in the actions menu of your store, click “Retry connection”.
Edit it on Hoplix, then go to Integrations > WooCommerce > Published Products and click “Update on WooCommerce”. The product is updated in your store within a few minutes. Any changes you made to that product directly in WooCommerce are replaced by the Hoplix data.
Yes. When Hoplix ships the order, the order in your store is marked as “Completed” and your customer receives a note with the carrier, the tracking number and the tracking link. The emails are sent by WooCommerce from your store.
In the Hoplix plugin settings set “Hoplix shipping rates at checkout” to “Enabled”, choose how to handle carts with other products and your margin. Then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping, open each shipping zone you ship to and add the “Hoplix” shipping method.
It depends on the “Carts with other products” setting. With “Split” the cart becomes two shipments: the Hoplix products use the Hoplix rates, your products use your store’s shipping methods, and the customer pays both. Your shipping zones need at least one shipping method of your own besides “Hoplix”, otherwise your products have no shipping option. With “Use Hoplix rates only when the cart contains only Hoplix products”, mixed carts use only your store’s shipping methods.
Like any WooCommerce shipping cost: if your store calculates taxes, the rate is net and WooCommerce adds the tax; otherwise it includes VAT.
No. Every order is printed on demand and shipped by Hoplix.
