Books deposits that don't match your bank, and support can't fix what their own tool breaks. Forced off the legacy integration (which worked for years) in June. Since then: every payout containing an edited or foreign-currency order books to QuickBooks at the WRONG amount -- the connector uses the pre-edit/authorized order total instead of what Shopify actually captured and deposited, so bank reconciliation fails and the error compounds daily. Shop Pay processing fees sync as $0.00. Three weeks into a support case, posting silently stopped entirely -- 25 payouts now stuck unbooked in the review queue. Their back office then modified our books without notice, correcting 5 payouts but leaving the originals in place, double-counting roughly $7,500 of revenue and cash. Support's answer to everything is send more screenshots, and eventually: please manually delete the incorrect transactions from your QuickBooks -- their words. If you use delayed capture, edit orders before shipment, or sell internationally, do not migrate. The connector's own Gross/Net column shows the right number on every payout; it just doesn't book it.

Syncing works fine with US orders, but any shopify order in a foreign currency will send incorrect price data.

This review is about the product itself, not the customer service I received. As someone who has worked with much more complex accounting software, I find QuickBooks Online surprisingly confusing for what is supposed to be a simple accounting program. I was notified that the old Shopify integration was no longer supported and that I needed to move to the new integration. To do that, I had to disconnect the existing Shopify connection before connecting to the new platform. Unfortunately, once I disconnected it, I discovered I couldn't complete the new connection because of an issue with my account. Now I'm left with no Shopify integration at all. My old connection is gone, I can't connect to the new one, and I'm waiting for the development team to contact me with no estimated timeframe for a resolution. That leaves me wondering: what am I supposed to do in the meantime? My business depends on this integration, and having no timeline or temporary solution is incredibly frustrating. Ruth was helpful throughout the process and did everything she could to escalate my case to the development team. This review isn't a reflection of her service—it's a reflection of the product and the experience of being left without a critical business integration.

The product needs work, as does the self-serve documentation. Support seems understaffed and it took an hour to get to the top of the queue. Francis was helpful toward troubleshooting my onboarding issues, but some of those issues couldn't be resolved via the current product they've shipped. I'll have to rebuild the workflows I'd established on the legacy version of this app.

The app was easy to connect and helped us test syncing Shopify B2B orders into QuickBooks as invoices. Product matching by SKU worked well, which is helpful for improving invoice accuracy and AR tracking. We are still reviewing the payment status sync, but overall the setup has been useful so far.

Sherwin is very helpful, and I give Sherwin 5 stars for his help! My 3 Star Rating is because I'm unable to log in to QB after trying multiple browsers, including incognito mode, due to a random error. I also have now been dealing with the 3rd broken integration with Shopify, where it now records individual transactions instead of payouts. I'm missing a significant portion of net sales that are not being reported to QB... will try to reach out again once I can log back into my account.

Great app, works quite well. Incredible tech support. Francis helped me set up the entire integration system: deposit, payouts, transactions, orders, so that QuickBooks could see all transactions from Shopify, connect them together, and see them as one single structure and not make any duplications.
