Excellent support from Rods on the QuickBooks Connector team! He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us resolve a complicated Shopify integration issue. He walked through multiple tests with us, helped identify a working solution, and escalated the remaining issue to engineering for follow-up. We're not quite finished with the integration, but Rods made excellent progress and provided outstanding customer service. I have used Quickbooks Online for years, but have never integrated our Shopify account. The process was pretty seamless, but where the service really shined was with the support staff. Jenny was incredibly helpful and took her time with me. We were able to communicate via chat for about 2 hours while she answered all of my questions and concerns. By the end of our session I left feeling more confident about the connector and the role it would serve for our business model. Great support from Maycel. We contacted the QuickBooks Connector team after the upgrade to the new connector and Maycel was quick, patient and precise: she went through each issue with us, opened a ticket for the development team and kept everything clear. The connector itself syncs our Shopify orders reliably (amounts and dates match Shopify to the cent), but for an Italian company selling across the EU there are still gaps: VAT codes on discount lines, 25% VAT rates matched to the wrong country, no class mapping yet, and no buyer name on receipts when customer tracking is off. The support experience made the difference.

Used this for years. The new version broke it. The recent update rebuilt the integration and it's a step backwards for us. It created its own income and fee accounts instead of using ours, so our Shopify revenue is now split across two accounts in the middle of our fiscal year. Every sale comes in under a generic "Shopify customer" with a generic "Shopify sales item", so customer names and products are gone from our books. You can't choose between invoice and sales receipt anymore, the dropdown has one option. We're heading into our busiest season and now looking at other accounting software.

Vinny was very helpful and genuinely tried his best to resolve my issue. Although the problem has not been fully resolved yet, I really appreciate his patience, effort, and willingness to help throughout the process.

Works well with a couple glitches around deposit matching. 5 stars for Ruth - she has helped me get a workaround for those issues.
