We have used Cart2Cart to migrate several stores from Volusion and WordPress to Shopify. The experience has always been positive, and the team over there worked to get our migrations perfect.

We used Cart2Cart to move a large WooCommerce fashion store to Shopify — roughly 7,000 products, 15,000 variants, 48 brands, and years of order and customer history. The full migration completed with zero skipped entities. Images, variants, SEO URLs and 301 redirects all transferred intact, which was critical for us since we couldn't risk losing search rankings on an established catalogue. The Recent Data Migration is what made this workable for a store that never stopped selling. It pulls in only new orders and customers without disturbing what's already there, so we could build the Shopify side properly instead of forcing a rushed cutover. Support deserves a specific mention. Our go-live date moved twice for reasons on our end, and the team extended our Migration Insurance both times without making it difficult. On a project of this size, that kind of flexibility matters more than any feature list. Saved us weeks of manual work. Recommended.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cart2Cart. The biggest issue is their customer support. Initially, they respond, but after some time the responses become extremely slow, and eventually they stop replying altogether. This made the migration process very frustrating. Another major problem is that after the demo migration, the URL keys were not migrated correctly, which can seriously affect SEO and existing search rankings. Even more concerning, the URL redirects did not work at all. I contacted their developers multiple times regarding this issue, but my concerns were completely ignored, and I never received a proper solution. Cart2Cart is a great service that allows you to migrate from old sites to shopify with confidence. Orders, posts, content, URL redirects, images - everything can be brought over. The customer service is excellent and they are very responsive and helpful.
