LangShop has been very useful for managing translations across different parts of our Shopify store. Translating products, pages, theme content, and other components is straightforward and saves us a lot of time. Their customer support has also been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions. We hope LangShop continues to improve and refine the app, but overall, it’s been a solid and convenient tool for running a multilingual store.

The app translations were poor at the beginning, until the AI store context feature was implemented. After that, the translations were perfect for around 8–9 months. Now, the translations sometimes work as expected and sometimes they don’t. This is mostly the case with metafield translations — they sometimes ignore the AI store context, and even glossary rules do not help. I am convinced this is a bug in the app, but support claims it is caused by OpenAI ChatGPT 5.4. I find this very hard to believe, because the app is the one feeding the data to the OpenAI API. If I paste the same text directly into ChatGPT, it translates everything correctly. The app currently seems very buggy. Metafield translations are unreliable, both with OpenAI and DeepL Pro, and in their current state they simply cannot be used on a live webshop. It is definitely a frustrating experience for us, and we are investigating our options. And the support is definitely not 24/7. But that is the smallest issue I have.

Vera was really helpful when we started experiencing a critical issue with our translated menus disappearing across multiple languages. She responded very quickly, investigated the problem right away, and managed to identify and resolve the issue in a short time. She also took the time to explain exactly what had happened, identified the specific menu item that caused it, and provided practical recommendations to help us avoid similar issues in the future. Amazing app and timely support, I managed to launch even one of the most complex Lithuanian translations with them. Slugs and all seo part was handled perfectly too.
