I had an excellent experience with the Mailchimp app support team through Shopify. David went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot a syncing error that had been causing issues. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through the problem until we found a solution. His expertise and guidance made the entire process much less stressful. What really stood out was that David also took the time to ask for my feedback and whether there were any updates or improvements I'd like to see in the app. That showed me the team genuinely cares about listening to customers and continuously improving the user experience. When our chat was unexpectedly disconnected, Mary quickly stepped in and reconnected us so we could continue without missing a beat. I really appreciated the seamless support and teamwork. Excellent customer service! Lori was very helpful in setting up my Shopify and Mailchimp integration. She made the process easy to follow and was quick to follow up with any issues. We're still getting used to the app, so having great support really smooths the process and makes everything much easier to navigate.

hands on and helpful team - did an orientation that made it easy to get started with all the things i wanted to implement. and when i was confused about something, they have very helpful ~real humans~ to chat with you and troubleshoot. Marz stayed on the chat with me for an hour and a half and reconnected when i got booted out by my browser a couple times. and at the end sent a full transcript of our chat. love the level of service and accountability.

Intuitive and powerful, Mailchimp has effectively met our needs as a physical product startup. Our team is experienced in many areas, but online and email marketing is not one of them. Mailchimp has helped us achieve things ourselves we would have otherwise had to pay far more to consultants or firms to accomplish. Most importantly, our experience of their customer service has been fantastic. World class in our opinion. David was especially helpful when I was confirming everything was working properly when synching to our Shopify store.

Fantastic customer service. Paul helped me with an integration issue that had been plaguing us for the best part of four months. He walked me through the process and was able to successfully help me deactivate and reinstall the app in a way that reconnected the data we had been looking for.

The Mailchimp for Shopify team reached out promptly to resolve this issue, their response was great. There is indeed a setting within the app to not sync bot (non-subscribed) contacts to your list, which was exactly what I was looking for. My app may have been out of date and that's why it wasn't showing. Thank you Mailchimp for your speedy help, I was struggling with this for awhile. [original review] It's great until you have an issue with bots signing up to your email list. The integration has no way to filter out fraudulent/fake emails (whereas the standalone Mailchimp platform does). What happens is your contact list will get flooded with thousands of emails from fraudulent orders, that Mailchimp then charges you for because you're "over" your contact limit. It's pretty underhanded and almost like they benefit from not having better filtering settings within the app. You'd think an ESP of this level would have figured out a way to filter bot traffic. None of these contacts are actually "subscribed" to my list. I would even pay more for this feature, if only Mailchimp would integrate it. Please do something, Mailchimp!
